SMS Terms

These SMS Terms describe the reThought Real Estate text-messaging program, how to opt in and out, and the terms that apply when you provide your phone number and consent to be contacted by text.
1. Program description
If you provide your phone number and check the SMS consent box on one of our forms, a reThought agent or our systems may send you recurring marketing and transactional text (SMS) messages using a messaging provider (Twilio) about new listings, home search updates, showings, promotions, and related real estate services.
2. Consent, frequency, and rates
- Consent: Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchasing any property or service. You may decline texts and still work with us by phone or email.
- Frequency: Message frequency varies based on your activity and conversations with your agent.
- Rates: Message and data rates may apply.
3. Opt out and help
Reply STOP to any text message to opt out of further texts at any time. Reply HELP for help. After you opt out, we may send one confirmation message. Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
4. Privacy
We handle calls and texts consistent with applicable law, including the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA). We do not sell or share your mobile phone number or SMS consent with third parties for their own marketing. See our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service for more.
