Delete My reThought Homes Account

1. Delete it in the app

This is the fastest way. After your account is deleted, your sign-in stops working.

• Open the reThought Homes app and sign in.
• Tap Me.
• Tap Account.
• Tap Delete my account.
• Read the message, then tap Delete.

You can also find Delete my account under Me then Privacy. If you signed in with Apple, the app may ask you to confirm with Apple first. Deleting your account also disconnects reThought from your Apple or Google account.

2. Ask us to delete it without the app

If you can't open the app, you can ask us to delete your account by email. Maybe you lost your phone, or you can't sign in. You can't delete your account from our websites, so use the app or send us an email.

• Subject line: Delete my reThought Homes account
• What to include: the email address or phone number you used to sign up. Write from that email address if you can.

We may ask you to confirm it's really you before we delete anything. This keeps someone else from deleting your account. We finish email requests within 45 days.

3. What we delete

When your account is deleted, we remove the information that belongs only to your account:

• Your sign-in: your sessions, your Google or Apple connection, and any sign-in codes we sent you.
• Your profile: your name, email address, phone number, market, and the agent you picked.
• Your saved items: saved homes, saved searches, and the homes you recently viewed.
• Your notifications: your push notification tokens and your notification history.
• Your app activity: the app activity tied to your account, and your home value estimates.
• Your requests inside the app: requests to change your agent and your agent message handoffs.

Your email address is also removed from the website visitor records linked to your account. Your sign-in is removed right away. Cleaning up the rest runs in the background. For most accounts it finishes within minutes. A very large account can take longer.

4. What we keep

reThought Real Estate is a licensed brokerage. Some records are business records, not just app data, so deleting your account does not delete them. We unlink them from your account and keep them:

• Requests you sent to an agent: tour requests, questions, and other messages you sent us. They stay with reThought as brokerage records.
• Your consent record: what you agreed to, when, and which version of the wording you saw. We keep it so we can show that we contacted you the way you allowed.
• Your client record: if you worked with a reThought agent, your contact details and your agent's notes stay in our system. Any home alerts an agent set up for you stay on that record, paused.
• Your website activity: the pages and homes you viewed on our websites. We remove the link to your account, but these records can still hold details that identify you, such as your email address or a visitor ID.
• A record of your deletion request: your name, contact details, and the date, so we can show that we handled it.

5. After you delete

• You can't undo it. We can't bring back your saved homes or searches.
• The app stays open and works as a guest. You can keep browsing homes.
• You can create a new account later. It starts empty.
